The Orange line in the Map above is proposed by us.

We have sent the Government, details of the line we propose which are also present in the links below that you should definitely check. This is the metro to give us a better way of commuting to NaviMumbai and divert a lot of passengers from Central Railway and decongest it , it will also enable us to travel directly between Kalyan and Lokhandwala,Andheri and provide Interchange with 5 other Metro Lines and 3 Suburban Railway Lines.

  7. Sent my support. I am in for this, since they announced Metro 12. Last news I heard about the growth areas which this metro was supposed to benefit,w the mlas being involved in illegal construction racket.

I have also suggested light rail transport which will circle smaller areas but should effectively reduce traffic

3rd is river transport. We are very far behind at this. River banks should be growth areas not 27 villages with museums aquariums and business complexes and entertainment zones. Cargo and logistics transport can increase via this and reduce trucks on roads

  9. I want govtt to fix the current Shilphata situation before starting any work for the metro. We can't be in same situation until Metro starts functioning. I am sure just two days back Aadarniya Devendra Fadnavis ji has visited this Kalyan shil road and that too in pick evening hours - so he must be thinking to pause it and fix the current issue. Every morning and evening is like question mark while crossing the Shilphata. I do believe in visionary missions of govtt - bit let us fix the road by fencing on both sides let us not allow more than two lanes, put a counter at Signal, clear the potholes. This will cost 1/1000O th budget of the metro project.
